A Point System for Journalists

ESWN has published an article in his blog that gives us a good look into how the CCP tries to manipulate journalism in China.  When you wonder what kinds of forces are used to practice censorship in the Chinese press, think about this article.  It explains in wondrous detail how points are given that affect the reporters’ and writers’ livelihood and their chances for advancement: a point system that rewards primarily those who write what the party bosses like to read or hear.
